Gujarat has been organizing a Biennial Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors’ Summit since 2003 for fostering development in industrial and social sectors through promotion of investments\and collaboration in Gujarat. The Vibrant Gujarat Summit provides opportunities to exhibit strengths and core competencies of Gujarat to potential investors and partners in different sectors.
SCOPE actively participated in the Summit and coordinated with various sister institutions to exhibit and organize various activities during the summit. Some of the prominent activities during the summit were:
In order to foster academic and research collaboration between the foreign universities and the universities of India, as also to focus our attention on this subject, International Conference for Academic Institutions (ICAI) was organized on 9th and 10th January, 2013 at Gandhinagar, as a part Biennial Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors’ Summit. A similar event was organized two years ago in 2011, in which 33 representatives from 25 international universities participated.
The Exhibition Pavilion on the theme of Knowledge which was spread over 6000 sq. mtrs provided an opportunity to National and International Universities to exhibit their profiles, best practices and achievement. The exhibition was organized during 8th to 13th January, 2013.
Various English language games and competitions were organized at the exhibition venue.
Educational films and shows were projected on LED screen during the course of exhibition.
A half day seminar on “Higher Education and Employability” was also organized at Mahatma Mandir on 12th January, 2013.
SCOPE also signed five MoUs with various universities and educational institutions to promote English language among students during the summit.
